Captain Sky Berdahl, D.D.S.
After a successful 20 year career as a child actor, where he appeared on stage, film and television, Captain Sky Berdahl graduated from Hamilton College with a Bachelor of Arts in Government. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from New York University, where he was awarded with recognition from The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, The Special Olympics and The American Association of Public Health Dentistry. He completed his specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Jacobi Medical Center where he currently serves on the attending staff.
Just recently, seven year old Tanya C. professed him, "the best kids dentist ever!" and he was heralded by The Brower Family Foundation for obtaining ‘The Best Sticker Selection in the Mid-Atlantic Region’.
The Captain’s greatest pride is being able to rescue timid patients by creating a trust that empowers them with the ability to brave what is often a stressful experience. Embracing core principles of empathy, patience and mentorship he fully believes he is serving your child as an ad-hoc conduit during their dental adventure and he will go the extra mile to co-pilot their shuttle to a safe landing. Highly entertaining through puppetry, song and storytelling, he provides quality dental care in the guise of an intergalactic experience that will leave your children happy and eager to return.

- Captain Sky- Thanks for the kind letter you wrote my daughter in response to the illustration she left at your office. It's exciting for a 5-year-old to get mail and even more exciting for her to get recognition for her artwork. I appreciate the effort, and the kind gesture. I'm also happy that you have opened the conversation on Mondrian with my daughter!
- Dear Cpt. Sky, we wanted to thank you for the "trials and tribulations" our son put you through last Tuesday, during his first visit to your office. We are amazed by your perseverance and the amount of effort you invested in this one kid. Just to let you know, he is now brushing his teeth in the morning, as you suggested to him, as well as in the evening. We will see you in January.
- Captain, You are the best kids dentist ever!! Thanks so much for being so kind, understanding and fun! May you always have success and such great karma!
